Total broadband con artist! They’re attempting to gain access to your computer or phone through a Teams sharing application - quite risky, I must say. Beware!

WATCH OUT. Someone called pretending to be from Virgin, saying my broadband speed was really slow. They asked what gadgets I had hooked up to the internet and had me run a speed test. Then they wanted me to open this Teams sharing app to get into my phone. I got suspicious, hung up and contacted Virgin directly. They told me it was a scam and they'd tried ringing me four times! When I asked the caller to say my name back, they ended the call and haven’t called again since.
