I recently had a rather dubious phone call from this number, with someone claiming to be from BT. They proclaimed that they were issuing a warning about hackers attempting to breach broadband connections to snatch bank information. I promptly informed them that we don’t actually use BT for our services, yet they continued to assert that all lines ultimately run through BT. They went on about giving advice for preventing hacking, which seemed a bit far-fetched to me. When I requested to get their contact number, they abruptly hung up. Quite suspicious, don’t you think?
