When I answered the phone, the person on the other end opted for complete silence, which prompted me to end the call. Given that I'd already received seven missed calls from this number prior to that, I took the liberty of blocking it as well.

Seriously, all of what the others have mentioned is spot on. It’s super annoying. I keep my ansa phone on all the time, and they just hang up straight away. Sometimes I just pick up, put the phone down on the table, and don’t say a word - maybe they’ll catch on eventually.

They've been calling me loads but hang up so quick I can't get to pick up. When I tried calling them back, some message popped up saying I had to give my info to unsubscribe. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent asking for me by name. Didn’t answer much, just ended the call. Later I looked up the number on Google and saw it might be a scam? Not too sure though.

I have no clue who that was since they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. Honestly, which company in the UK calls and then just hangs up without a message? Feels like it might be some automated machine just scanning numbers or something.

I normally dont pick up calls from numbers I dont recognize, but I always have a look at the reviews here before deciding to block them. Would be great if more people did that, coz if no one ever answered these dodgy calls, they'd probably disappear pretty quick.

Got a call earlier, the guy on the other end sounded Indian. He was saying he could help me find a job and kept asking about how much I earn now. I've got one of those call-blocking systems on my phone to stop stuff like this but it’s doing nothing! Who even are these people and why is there no way to block them properly?

Got a call from this number and as soon as I picked up, the line went dead. Haven't seen this one before, but over the past month or so, I've been getting loads of silent calls from a Walsall area code, just different numbers. I already sent them straight over to Ofcom.

I've had a couple of silent calls from this number today, which is quite frustrating. If I keep getting these irritating calls, I won't hesitate to report it to Ofcom. It's been going on for the last month or so with a different number from the same area code-I've already flagged that one with Ofcom as well.

On the 23rd of January 2020, at about 2.47pm, this number rang me but left no voicemail. I checked who it was using 1471. Just to add, we are signed up with TPS so wasn’t expecting any calls like this.
