This number kept buzzing me nonstop. When I finally answered, some robot voice was telling me to hold on for someone to pick up. I hung around for like 5 minutes and no one came. Then I caught a faint voice in the background saying “we’ll be with you soon.” Honestly, it's dodgy and probably a scam, so best to just ignore it.

I got a call from 01921 319799 the other day - it was an automated voice of a lady telling me there was an issue with my router and to ‘press 1’ to get in touch with my internet company. They never mentioned which provider it was supposed to be, so I twigged straight away it was dodgy and ended the call. The automated woman sounded pretty convincing, so it could easily trick folks. Watch out!

Got a call from 01921-345151 with some dodgy recorded message about my Amazon Prime subscription auto-renewing. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account and I’m pretty careful to delete my card info after I buy stuff online. Definitely a scam!

Got a call this morning at 9.56 from 01921 954986. The message said it was Virgin Media internet and to press one. My son has been having issues with the internet so i pressed one out of curiosity. Then some guy with an accent comes on saying there’s a problem with the box and asks me to turn on my computer and give him the address. I told him to jog on, told him he was a scammer, and said I was going to report him. Just got back home and decided to leave this here.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying my Prime subscription needed renewing. Sounded genuine at first but felt off - dodgy if you ask me. Didn't give out any info and blocked the number straight away. Stay alert folks!

Got a call from 21 523394 with some automated message about my internet being cut off in 4 hours unless I do something with my router or whatever. I didn’t bother sticking around to hear which button they wanted me to press!

Got a phonecall today from 01921 949657, seemed dodgy and turned out to be another scam tied to Amazon Prime. Earlier, I’d had a call from 02385 819268, which shows up as a Southampton landline. This 01921 number isn’t linked to any specific area, and I read somewhere you can’t ring it back - probably a trick so they don’t get caught. The automated voice sounded American, quite natural, not like a robot. They asked to press one, but I suspect that just hooks you into the scam. Both calls came within a couple of hours this morning, on Thursday 7th November 2019. Be careful folks!

Received a call from this number earlier today. It was an individual with a foreign accent claiming to be from BT, insisting there were issues with my IP address. I decided to terminate the conversation, as it was clearly just a bothersome scam attempt.
