A guy with an Indian accent said he was 'Derek' from the FCA, mentioning some unpaid debts I supposedly had. He did know my postcode but it was from an old place I left over six years ago. Received a call yesterday. The chap claimed he was from the NHS and inquired about my wellbeing. Oddly enough, I had just left a PCR testing facility. Then he probed about whether I’d had all my vaccinations and proceeded to ask about my life insurance. I mentioned that I did have a policy, and he wanted to know which provider I was with and what my premiums were. At that point, I realised this wasn’t an official NHS call at all, so I decided to cut him off and ended the call. It left me quite irked, especially since he appeared to know my address and other personal details.

I received a rather peculiar call earlier where they quizzed me about my vaccinations and how I coped post-jabs. Then, out of the blue, they inquired about my financial situation, suggesting the government would cover my debts from lockdown.
