someone rang me saying they were from sky, telling me my internet speed was all over the place. they wanted me to switch my computer on so they could 'check' the speed. i’m with now, which is connected to sky, but my internet is fine, no issues at all. they kept pushing for me to use a pc to test it, which felt a bit dodgy. i just ended the call because it seemed like they might’ve been trying to get remote access or something fishy if i'd gone along with it.

Received a call earlier purporting to be from Sky, stating they were investigating issues with my internet speed. They insisted that I boot up my computer so they could carry out a speed test. Now, I’m with NOW, which is under the Sky umbrella, but I can assure you my connection is as steady as a rock. Their persistence in having me get onto my PC felt rather dodgy, so I decided to cut the conversation short. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were attempting some sort of remote access con if I had continued the call. Best to be cautious!
