I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was ringing about the renewal of my boiler insurance. She was quite insistent and requested a fair bit of personal info, including my full name, home address, and date of birth. I urge everyone to stay vigilant!

Anyone else reckon that if you get a call from some dodgy number way outside your local area, it’s pretty much always some kind of rubbish spam or scam? I just hang up straight away and block them, no messing about - saves me a lot of hassle!

I got a call asking if I could take part in a survey.

Just got a call at 6:01pm and it was dead quiet on the other end for ages, so right away I figured it was one of those cold call centres. I hung around till I heard a faint “hello,” then I instantly hung up. Sounded like another Indian call centre. Like a few others have pointed out, people get asked loads of questions, so I’m labelling this number as ‘dodgy’.
