I usually let my voicemail pick up if I'm unsure about a number. This time, nothing was recorded from this caller. After looking it up here, it seems this was probably a scam, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

In just an hour, I've had to block them five times already.

I got a call from a number very similar to this one about half an hour ago, and then the same "national survey" (assuming that’s legit) rang me again on this line. So yeah, that’s three calls over two days from these annoying folks with different numbers each time.
