6 yearsReceived a call purporting to be from O2 regarding some sort of credit promotion. Quite suspicious, especially since I'd been inundated with a barrage of unsolicited texts just the night before.6 yearsReceived a call claiming to be from O2, informing me that I’d been chosen for a shiny new SIM deal that apparently didn’t require a credit check. Considering I’m employed in a call centre and am already with O2, I was curious enough to see what their spiel was all about. After a while, I was transferred to a so-called "senior" agent, who then handed me off to another "senior" representative. Strangely, this latter chap seemed completely oblivious to the fact that I was already a customer of theirs. To top it off, he started asking for my long card number and other sensitive banking details for a credit check that wasn’t meant to be part of the process! Quite a perplexing experience, to say the least.6 yearsI’ve encountered a troubling situation with some individuals of Asian descent attempting to scam me with counterfeit phone agreements and pushing loans that bypassed any credit evaluations. At present, I'm in the process of taking legal steps against EE, contending that they've misrepresented their services and mishandled my personal information, allowing it to fall into the hands of this deceitful company.EE6 yearsReceived a call today claiming to be from O2 regarding a monthly contract that supposedly didn’t require a credit check. They went on to ask if I was currently using pay as you go. Felt a bit dodgy, to be honest, so I decided to end the call.6 yearsI had a rather dodgy experience where I pretended to be an O2 customer, even though I’m not, and tried to chat about some billing issues. Honestly, just don’t share any details with them-best to simply end the call!Submit Your Own Report (0191 933 0024)
