Some bloke rang me claiming to be “a local health care worker” and said they had information showing I have certain health issues. I quickly realised it was total rubbish, so I asked who gave them that info, but he just kept going on like one of those recorded messages, but with a live voice. In the end, I told him it was a scam and told him to get lost.

It was likely an automated call, but it did seem like a person was speaking. They mentioned something to do with an alert pendant. I just let the call go on without answering back.

At first, I thought it was a real person, but it turned out to be an automated call. The caller claimed to be a healthcare professional from my local area. He assumed I had some health problems and started mentioning some kind of medical gadget. Honestly, watch out - it's definitely a scam targeting those who are most vulnerable.

My elderly neighbour keeps getting calls from some man named Sam, who’s pushing her to get care services she never asked for and doesn’t want. It’s really bothering her, and now she’s scared to even pick up the phone anymore!

Got a call on my landline from 01912822062 but they didn't say a word. Pretty sure it's one of those scam calls.

Got a call but it was just silence, no message left on my voicemail either.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from the local health service, but when I asked which organisation he was with, he just dodged the question completely. He was pushing some kind of medical alert button or pendant, but when I mentioned I’d probably get one sorted through my doctor, he just brushed it off and carried on. I ended the call, decided to check the number he used, and as I thought, it was linked to a scam. Definitely worth checking out any unfamiliar numbers before trusting strangers on the phone.

I just had a dodgy phone call from a bloke purporting to be a health worker in my locality. He was keen on dispatching some unnecessary gear my way. I decided it best to hang up.

If someone calls and asks "do you hear me?", it's usually a scam. Never say yes. I got a call from someone claiming to be my local health service offering a free alarm bracelet. But after I replied without confirming, it was clear it was some pre-recorded message trying to trick me. I could've said anything silly, like "Elephants wear hats", and it would've still gone on about the alarm. I just hung up and blocked the number.

I picked up and there was a tiny pause before the person on the other end asked, "Can you hear me alright?" Without thinking, I said "Yeah" and then they just hung up. Now I’m a bit worried they might twist my answer into some kind of contract agreement! We’ll see what happens I guess.

Totally hopeless con artist.

I got a call from some bloke saying he was a health worker around my neighbourhood. I asked what kind of health work he did, but he seemed a bit iffy and couldn’t give a straight answer. He started telling me something about a personal alarm for people like me who might need it because of their health. I told him I was fit as a fiddle and didn’t need any alarms, then he just said cheers and ended the call.

This number 01918282062 just called me. A young guy claimed he was from the health service and said he’d send me a personal alarm, supposedly free of charge, in case I needed help. When I asked where exactly he was calling from, he didn’t answer. Then I asked who he was working for, and he went on about the alarm and mentioned a trial period and some sort of contract. I kept telling him I didn’t want anything sent but he just kept talking over me and then suddenly hung up. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

The number called saying he was some health worker from around here (GU10). He kept going on about sending us some equipment we never asked for and didn’t want. We tried to get a word in, but he just kept speaking over us, so eventually we just ended the call.

Somebody phoned me saying they were a health worker from around here, but it sounded fishy to me.

Got a call around 11.29 in the morning but it stopped ringing after just a couple of times. They hung up before I could even see who it was. Only one number showing, so I wouldn’t have picked up anyway. Feeling like it was probably some dodgy telemarketer or something.
