Some bloke from BT rang me regarding the national switch - something I’d already heard about. He gave me the dates and helped sort out what gadgets were hooked up to our existing line. Also, he advised on ways to make the business’s setup more secure for the future. It was really nice talking to someone who actually knew their stuff for a change.

Got a call from BT's main office about the upcoming switch off of analogue lines. They said I had to switch to digital quickly. They arranged for an engineer to come and check my place, and in the end, he suggested a better system that actually lowered my bills. It was a legit call for sure.

I got a call just like this one. They told me the old copper phone line needed to be turned off by December 2026. It felt more like a pushy sales pitch trying to get me to agree to some ‘better service’ deal.
