I got a call from what looked like a local number, with a recorded message claiming to be from BT Telecom saying my broadband would be cut off in 24 hours because my address was 'compromised'. It told me to press 1 to talk to a technician. When I rang the number back, a different recorded message with an American accent said the number wasn’t in use and warned it might be a scam. It advised calling 0333043210 for help. I didn’t bother calling that second number. These kinds of calls are honestly getting way too annoying and disruptive.
