this number has been calling my 90-year-old mum quite a bit. there’s a bloke on the line talking in an accent she can’t really make out. today my wife answered it for her, and when the caller asked if he had Mrs - - - on the phone, she said yes and he just disconnected straight away.

I got a call from someone asking for my mother in law by name, and I just said yeah since she's been getting loads of annoying calls lately. But as soon as I answered, they hung up straight away. I'm thinking maybe they realised I didn’t sound old enough to be her or something.
