Right after I logged into my online banking, I got a call on my landline from 01917740759. The message said my router was acting up and I’d lose internet in about four hours, then told me to press 1 to get through to my provider. When I did press 1, all I heard was beeping and then it cut off. Worried about security, I rang up Virgin, my internet company straight away. They ran a check on my account and line, and told me the call was a scam, definitely not from them. They also said they’d take note of this incident.
