I'd guess it might be some kind of scam.

Really annoying and wouldn’t take no for an answer. They kept ringing me saying something about a car accident I supposedly had, but I’ve never been in one. Feels like they’re fishing for my details. I just ended the call. After getting loads of calls from them, I decided to block the number altogether.
