Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent asking me to confirm my identity. Had no clue who she was or what it was about, seemed dodgy so I just blocked the number.

BEWARE! This is a total SCAM. Loads of folks have reported losing loads of cash to this disgusting scam just this September. It’s getting worse, so NEVER hand over your personal info or bank details. If you get a dodgy call, text or letter, report it to Action Fraud straight away. Also, make a post on your social media and ask people to share it - we’ve seen that it really helps stop others from getting caught out. Cheers for helping to fight back against this rubbish!
