Got a call claiming I'd been involved in a car wreck, which is totally not true. What a load of rubbish and such a pointless hassle!

Someone called saying they were from a charity, asking if I wanted to give a donation. I told them no and hung up. It's not that I don't want to help out, but I just don't feel comfortable giving money over the phone or internet because I worry it's a scam. I usually prefer to support local charities in person.
