Honestly, seemed like a genuinely nice bloke who just wanted to offer a hand.

Someone named Alex from BCS kept ringing me, asking to speak with whoever handles energy stuff. I pretty much told him to jog on. He didn’t stop, kept ringing like 5 times within 10 mins. Had to block the number in the end.

This number called me out of the blue, someone named Alex from DBS. First, he asked for the person who handles energy meters in our finance team. Then he suddenly insisted on speaking with our company director. I told him our MD doesn’t entertain cold calls but he turned really unpleasant after that. He then pushed hard for the MD’s direct email, which I refused to give, and he got even more aggressive. Despite his rude and bossy tone, I stayed calm, but eventually had to raise my voice telling him to stop calling before I ended the call.
