I've received several calls from this number and also 0121 339 5902 where they say they're from Carphone Warehouse. They’re definitely not legit! They seem to have my contract renewal info since they ring at the right time, but I’ve never dealt with Carphone Warehouse, so it’s gotta be some sort of scam. I’m not sure what they want to sell or which details they’re after, but as soon as they say Carphone Warehouse, I just tell them I’ll sort things directly with my own provider (without saying who it is).

Just got off the phone with this bloke named Connor who said he was from Carphone Warehouse. He somehow knew my upgrade date but got my postcode completely wrong and even used my old surname, which made me wonder where on earth he was getting his info from. He was pitching what sounded like a decent deal, but I was suspicious because of the wrong details. Told him I’d double check with 02 and asked him to call back next week, but then he just abruptly ended the call!

It's not the Carphone Warehouse itself, but rather a third-party sales team. They're incredibly relentless in their attempts to sell you something. They've been ringing from this number as well as another, 01213395902. I highly recommend you avoid answering.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Car Phone Warehouse about an upgrade. This isn’t actually Carphone Warehouse, it’s some third party pretending to be them. I got calls from this number and another one, they’re just really pushy about making a sale and have zero proper customer service. When I said I wanted to take some time to decide, they got really unpleasant. I popped into a real Carphone Warehouse store and they told me this lot aren’t connected to them at all and advised me not to agree to anything. BE CAREFUL, they’re just a commission-based group from outside, not genuine at all.

That was Carphone Warehouse ringing me, wanting to push an upgrade. If you’re thinking about getting one, just act a bit tricky with them and chances are they’ll hook you up with a good offer. I did the same last year, upgraded my phone while keeping my O2 contract and number, and actually ended up with a way better deal than dealing with O2 themselves.
