I spoke to these energy consultants, and they were quite alright. They helped me sort out some contract stuff without any hassle.

Got a call from someone called Dale at Consultive, but the background noise was awful - couldn't understand a word they said. It seemed like they were hoping I'd just transfer them straight to whoever they wanted without me hearing much. When I asked if they were on speakerphone, they said no. So I gave them a bogus email address and ended the call.

This chap claimed to be Dale from Consultive and mentioned he was following up on behalf of a colleague currently on furlough. Next thing I know, he’s prying into details about our Eon contract that’s coming to an end next month. I decided to cut the conversation short, as it became evident he was merely trying to fish for information under the guise of a follow-up. He even attempted to ring us again, but I chose to ignore him, and it appears he eventually gave up. I’ve got a strong inclination to steer clear of anyone who resorts to dishonesty right off the bat, so I can’t help but suspect there were ulterior motives at play.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Dale at Consultive, said he was following up because a coworker was on furlough. He started asking about our Eon contract that’s ending soon, sounded fishy to me so I just ended the call. He called back a couple of times but I didn’t pick up. Definitely seemed like he was just trying to get info by pretending it was a callback. I’m never trusting someone who’s not upfront about who they really are or why they’re calling.
