As a young woman myself, I've had my fair share of hassle lately. In just the past couple of days, five different calls have come through, all of which seem rather suspicious.

I found myself bombarded with calls from this number, about three or four times a day for a span of four days, which, I confess, pushed me to finally pick up the phone. To my dismay, it was a representative from a utility company attempting to persuade me to switch to a prepaid meter instead of my current monthly plan. They were touting some nonsense about having no service charges-something my current provider certainly does. I wasn’t in the mood for yet another sales pitch and rather curtly told her to just leave me alone. She had the audacity to throw in a comparison as well, but I simply repeated my earlier sentiment to her. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Got a call from this number on my phone yday, dude was after details about my meter. I kept saying I’m fine with my current provider, but he kept going on like I wasn’t giving him the info he wanted. Eventually he just ended the call. After seeing all these reviews, I’ve blocked the number now.

Received a couple of calls from this number today, and they hung up as soon as I picked up. If they ever manage to get a word in, I’ll be billing them for my time on any subsequent chats. Fingers crossed that’ll put an end to their incessant calling!

It’s just your typical, bothersome scammer that Ofcom really ought to address. Clearly, this caller doesn’t seem to care about being a pest!
