This number has been constantly ringing me, claiming they’re not trying to sell anything but keep mentioning that I supposedly declared an INCIDENT on my car insurance renewal. The woman on the other end said she wanted to inform me about my rights linked to uninsured damages. She wasn’t having any of what I said, was quite nasty and kept saying I wasn’t paying attention. When I told her to delete my number from their records, she just said thanks and ended the call. Honestly, I wish there was a way to get a restraining order against these firms.

Received a call from this number, asserting that my wife had been involved in an accident two years ago-something that is completely untrue, I might add. When I pressed them for specific details about the alleged incident, they were all over the place with their answers. They weren't taking 'no' for an answer, so in the end, I told them to shove off. Then they had the cheek to say I'd be facing a fine! Absolute madness!

Had the same thing happen like the post from 02/03/2016, told them to piss off and then they went on about sending me a fine. Never asked for their call in the first place. Since it was their second call, I said if they keep it up, I’ll take legal action for harassment like they threatened.

These calls come through almost every day - I sometimes pick up when I don’t notice the caller ID. They’re always so pushy and rude, and to be honest, it’s definitely a scam. I told them I’d only discuss things with my insurance provider and asked how they even got my info. After that, they started being sarcastic, spoke in broken English, and even tried to drag me into some weird cult nonsense. I eventually lost it and told them straight up to buzz off, but that didn’t stop the calls. Now I just block the number straight away.

Motor claims people call me up saying things like "have you had a crash recently?" or "we heard you were in an accident in the past couple of years". Sometimes they’re asking for someone I don’t even know. I usually hang up straight away. Every now and then it’s just silence on the other end. Never hand over your details to them. Proper rude guy, right from the start. He asked how I was, I asked which company he was from, and he moaned at me for not answering his question first. Then he called me Mrs even though I’m Miss. I kept asking where he got my number but he just wouldn’t say. Later he tried to claim I’d had a car accident in the past 2.5 years and kept pestering me if I’m the main insured driver. I told him to find a proper job instead of bothering people and that he’d get what’s coming to him. Honestly, if I were a witch, I’d have hexed that bloke proper.

I've been plagued by these blokes ringing me daily for yonks now - it’s got to be over a month, and sometimes I even get multiple calls in a single day! When I’ve had the misfortune to actually chat with someone, they claim it’s regarding an accident claim I supposedly filed. Naturally, when I inform them that I haven’t lodged anything of the sort, they turn quite hostile, insisting I’ve submitted false information and that they’re from the Motor Investigative Bureau, threatening to report me. I’ve told them to send me the paperwork corroborating their claims, but they invariably hang up before I can press further. Today, yet another ring came through, and a woman found my demand for cessation rather amusing. She claimed she was with the Motor Investigative Bureau again and insisted she needed to discuss an accident claim filed under my husband’s name. Once more, I asked her to quit the calls, and she burst into laughter. To top it off, she warned me that I should brace myself for a call from the Police due to my alleged refusal to cooperate. I had the cheek to mention that she ought to anticipate a call from Trading Standards regarding nuisance calls and dubious claims - and lo and behold, she hung up once more. - caller: 0191 691 1949

I got a call from a woman saying I was eligible to claim £2500 for an accident I supposedly had. When I asked her the name of her company, she just said it’s an insurance firm. I then asked where she got my info from and even asked for my registration number. She didn’t reply at all and just kept pushing her spiel about claiming money. Honestly, if I'd been in an accident, I’d be the first to contact my own insurance, not some random person ringing me up!
