Got a call from someone sounding exactly like all the others named Daniel, but this time they used a Newcastle number to make it seem legit. The caller said they were from Amazon and told me someone was trying to charge my account nearly £1400. They said the payment was stopped and then made me pick between option 1 or 2. Totally fishy since I’d just checked my account and there’s been no unusual activity whatsoever. Pretty obvious it was a scam.
