Then they claimed it was something to do with your electricity bill, so I told them they were trying to scam me.5 monthsI got a call from what sounded like a dodgy energy call centre saying they were from EON. The people on the line were Indian and very hard to understand. They kept pushing for my personal details, even though I have a password set up with EON for security. Obviously, they couldn’t provide any password info because they’re not actually EON. Just a heads up, don’t hand over any info to these lot. If something feels off, best to ring your energy company yourself.
