I've had this number ringing me five times since the start of August. Ever since I got back from my holiday on the 7th, I've been pestered with four of those calls. I only picked up once, but there was utter silence on the other end, so I can't provide any further details. I find this incessant calling rather bothersome and would very much like it to come to an end.

I've received calls from this number previously. This time, the caller claimed to be representing an organisation called Stronger in Europe, inquiring about my voting intentions. I made it clear that that’s a personal matter and I wasn’t about to disclose it to anyone who might keep a record of it linked to my identity. When I probed him about how he obtained my name and my unlisted number, he stammered something about accessing government data. The conversation didn’t last much longer, as he abruptly ended the call when I inquired about his own voting preferences. Then, an hour later, I got another call. After a quick chat referencing our last conversation, he offered an apology and promptly disconnected. It’s clear to me that either this is a call centre overseas, or Stronger in Europe has hired some individuals who struggle with the English language.
