Just got a call from 01981725444 which sounded exactly like one I had about 30 minutes earlier. It was one of those automated messages pretending to be from the Mastercard or Visa team at my bank. They claimed a payment of £600 was made from my card overseas about 15 minutes ago and told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel any dodgy transactions. I wasn’t having any of it and just hung up.
