I’ve been inundated with calls from an Energy company. Can you believe it? Four times today alone! Each time, I insist they take my number off their list and refrain from calling again. I’m documenting every single call to report to the Information Commissioner's Office. Enough is enough!

I received a call from this number earlier today. The chap on the line addressed me by name and claimed he was from Carphone Warehouse, wanting to chat about my contract's imminent expiration. Since my contract is indeed nearing its conclusion, I initially thought it might be on the up-and-up. However, I mentioned I didn't have time for a chat and intended to visit one of their shops next week instead. He simply replied with a dismissive 'fine' before abruptly ending the call, which leads me to suspect it was just another scam!

Picked up this call and they said it was some survey firm. Whenever they asked about certain services, I gave answers I’m pretty sure they weren’t expecting. Like, when they asked if I had any debt, I said no. And when they asked if I’d ever used any finance, I said no as well. I also said no every time they asked if I wanted third parties to contact me. I've been receiving some rather peculiar calls lately. A chap from a call centre with a thick Indian accent rang up, claiming he was conducting a "national survey," but didn’t bother to reveal his identity or the name of the company he represents.
