Got a call today from a number I didn’t recognise, it rang a couple of times for a few seconds then just stopped without any voicemail. My phone flagged it as a possible scam, so I just left it alone. Heard that ignoring these sorts of calls is the smartest move anyway.

They just rang me once more. I've double-checked in the shop and on Currys’ official site - no connection to them at all. Tried to get in touch with Currys to report it but their customer service line is useless, and there’s no way to reach them online about this issue. Ended up messaging them on Facebook as a last option, but honestly, they don’t seem bothered at all. Something fishy is definitely going on here.

Heads up - this number isn't connected to Curry's at all. I actually popped into the shop earlier today to ask about it. They had no clue about the number. I bought something from Curry's recently and within a day I started getting calls from this number asking to verify my info. I'm planning to file a complaint with Curry's about it.

I received a call from Currys PC World regarding my refrigerator and freezer purchase. They informed me that in order to discuss any further details, I needed to pass security verification. I've heard a few people mention getting calls supposedly from PC World about deliveries, and some reckon it’s a scam. But I’m a bit iffy on that since I just got a parcel from Currys a few hours back. So maybe it's legit? Can't fathom why they’d hang up after just two rings though. Maybe they're trying to hit some kind of call target, who knows. Personally, I usually avoid picking up calls from numbers I don’t know, just to be safe.

The person inquired about a recent online transaction I had undertaken and requested that I go through some security queries. Curiously, I inquired about the purpose of these questions and was informed that they pertained to alterations regarding my delivery. Sensibly, I suggested that the individual send me an email regarding this matter. However, to my disappointment, no such email was received.

Sounds like a dodgy call to me, some one said they were from Currys PC World checking if my online order had arrived. Bit weird cos I’d only just placed the order a couple hours before. When I started asking stuff, they just hung up. I tried ringing the number back, got a recorded message saying it was Currys again. Then I phoned Currys proper and they hadn’t got any record of that number or any calls. Definitely fishy.
