Got a call off some daft woman claiming she was from Orange, asking for my name. I just told her to give me her name first and kept pushing her. Eventually, she gave in and hung up, what a muppet!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Orange about my account renewal, offering to discuss new deals. The connection was really bad and they never asked for me by name, just if I was the account holder. I told them I’d actually left Orange and cancelled my contract from the 3rd of February, which seemed to catch them off guard. Then she said I could get a new phone without extra monthly charges. I explained the number they were calling had already been switched to O2, so there was no point changing now. After that she asked if I had any other Orange accounts - surely they’d have that info already? Bit suspicious if you ask me!

Over the last few days, I've been getting calls from people saying they're with Orange. I rang Orange using their official number 345 to check, and they told me those callers had nothing to do with them. The next time they phoned and I questioned them, they actually got a bit rude.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Orange support, but I wasn’t having it and ended the call straight away. Minutes later, they rang back insisting they had important details about my Orange account. I cut them off again. They called once more and demanded to know why I was ignoring them. I turned the tables and asked who exactly was named on the account, and that’s when they wanted me to share parts of my pin. I told them they were trying to scam me, and their response was that they’d freeze my account for a day and if I didn’t comply tomorrow, they’d shut it down for good.

Had a good chuckle before hanging up one last time.
