I've had a call from them as well, claiming to represent Orange and stating that I qualify for an upgrade. It seems I receive these types of calls on a daily basis. The moment you start probing for more details, they abruptly hang up. Total con artists!

So, this daft woman called me claiming to be from Orange and insisted she required my name. I turned the tables and asked for her name instead, pushing back on her nonsense. It didn’t take long before she threw in the towel, the silly thing!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Orange, stating that my account was due for renewal and that I could possibly renegotiate my contract. The call quality was dreadful, and they didn’t even bother to ask for my name, just referred to me as the account holder. I explained that I had already switched away from Orange and provided notice to end the contract as of the 3rd of February, which seemed to catch her off guard. She mentioned that I could upgrade to a new handset at no extra cost per month. I pointed out that the number she was calling on (which she mistakenly assumed was still with Orange) had already been transferred to O2, so the opportunity to make any changes had passed. Then she proceeded to ask if I had any other accounts with Orange. Wouldn’t that already be on file?

I’ve been receiving phone calls from these individuals over the last few days. They assert that they're representatives from Orange. However, after reaching out to Orange via their helpline at 345, I found out that those callers are definitely not affiliated with them. The last time they rang me, I confronted them about it, and they turned rather rude and disrespectful.

Just had a rather odd phone call from someone claiming to be from Orange customer support, so I swiftly terminated the conversation. He didn't take the hint and rang me up once more, insisting he needed to discuss my account specifics. I promptly ended that call too. Not long after, he tried again, inquiring what my issue was. Curious, I asked for the name on the account, and then he bizarrely requested the first and third digits of my PIN. I straight away called shenanigans on him, pointing out that he was trying to pull a fast one. He then threatened to put my account on hold for a full day, stating that if I didn’t respond to his queries, he would terminate my account altogether! I had to chuckle at the absurdity of it all before hanging up for a third time.
