3 yearsSteer clear of this number; it's a con.7 yearsEarlier today, I received a rather unusual call from this number. A chap claimed he was ringing from AOL.com concerning a fridge freezer I bought last year. He started waffling on about some sort of insurance deal, suggesting that for just £4.99 a month, I could save a fortune if my appliance ever went wrong. Then he had the audacity to ask for my account number and sort code! I firmly declined, but he just wouldn’t take the hint, rabbiting on regardless. In the end, I had no choice but to hang up. Strangely enough, he hasn’t tried to reach me again. I reckon I made the right call-literally! I sincerely hope no one falls victim to these tactics.AOL. com7 yearsao's been ringing me like mad, about my warranty ending soon.
