Received a call at the unearthly hour of 4am! I certainly wasn’t anticipating any communications from the NHS, hence I chose not to answer or return the call. If this is genuinely a 111 number reaching out to confirm an appointment (I've got one scheduled with my GP in a fortnight), one has to wonder who on Earth is making calls at such an unsociable time?!

I had a rather unsettling experience with this number, which rang me thrice during the early hours on Monday, 5th June 2023. The first call was at a jarring 4:30 am, followed by two more at 6:30 am. If this was indeed NHS 111 attempting to reach me, it certainly took its sweet time as I only received a callback after a good 18 to 20 hours. By that point, I'd already been whisked off to the hospital via ambulance, received treatment, and made my way back home. Quite the turn of events, wouldn’t you agree?
