Received a call from this number I didn’t recognise. I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know since they are most of the time scams. If it was something important, they’d leave a voicemail. It rang a few times then just stopped. I checked the number on this site and yep, it’s definitely a SCAM. Cheers to everyone who reported it.

Answered by a woman who said she was ringing from the Philippines, claiming to work for a clean green energy firm and trying to ask if I was eligible for loft insulation funding. Whenever I asked who was providing the funding, she just stuck to her script and didn’t give a clear answer. Pretty sure it was a dodgy scam call, I told her as much too.

I missed a call on my mobile and tried calling back from my landline but it wouldn’t go through. Looks like they want you to ring back on your mobile, probably to charge a fortune per minute. There’s loads of scammers like that. Since the lockdown started in March, I’ve had over 30 different numbers ringing me. Lucky I just block them as soon as I see the call.
