I've received four calls from this number, so I decided to return the call. When I did, it mentioned EE, but the automated voice sounded just a tad different from what I'm used to. To be on the safe side, I reached out to the legitimate EE customer service and they assured me that there hasn't been any activity on my account in the past half-year that would warrant them reaching out to me.

The caller purported to be representing EE, but I managed to coax out the truth that he was actually from a third-party call centre. He got rather irate when I began to question how his business functions, and I suggested he might want to consider finding a more legitimate job.
