I got a call on my home phone from someone saying they were with BT and that my internet had been hacked. My mum was straight away suspicious. The bloke tried to get her to turn on her laptop, but she wouldn’t have any of it. I don’t think it was a legit call - he seemed annoyed when she asked for something in writing to prove it. Plus, we don’t even have BT as our provider! Definitely be cautious if you get a call like this!
