Got a call from this number saying there were two charges, one for £700 and another for £14.99, supposedly taken from my bank and under investigation. They asked me to press 1 or 2, so I picked 2 and a guy with an accent I didn’t recognise answered. As soon as he mentioned Amazon Prime, I knew it was dodgy. I later checked my bank and there’s no record of these payments. The only reason I even picked up was because the number started with 0191, so I thought it might be local.
