I told them straight away I wasn’t interested the first time they called, then I blocked the number, but do these muppets even listen?

The person on the phone kept asking for me by name a couple of times. I asked who it was and she said Angie from Choice Future Planning. I hung up straight away. I've had calls like this before, it really needs to be stopped! Judging by the comments above, it's obvious what she wanted. It’s a real cheek, if you ask me, something’s got to be done about these annoying calls!

They tried to get me to agree to a funeral plan, saying my body would be used for science. Then they mentioned that I maybe wouldn’t be accepted on weekends or holidays and so on. I told them I was well aware of my own plan details. If I wasn’t accepted, I already had insurance for cremation. After that, they started claiming my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I just ended the call.

Got a call from Choice Future Planning trying to push an "affordable" funeral plan on me. If they're that desperate to get you signed up, I reckon best to steer clear. I looked into their parent company, Dignity Pre Arrangement Ltd., which honestly doesn’t sound reassuring - their system’s called DIGNIBASE, which feels a bit dodgy. Or maybe it should be TAS? The directors seem linked to tons of different companies, like hundreds, often with the same people involved. Seriously, just avoid this lot.

I asked if she was aware of the Telephone Preference Service and if she’d checked I was on it. Turns out she hadn’t bothered. I've blocked the number now. Why would I want to arrange a funeral in advance? Oddly, she said she wasn’t actually selling anything, so I told her she wasn’t the right person to ask about prepaid funerals then. Really strange situation.
