Got a call from this number, it was a recruitment agency. They even left me a voicemail. I’ve worked with this company before through other ways, so it feels legit. Just a bit odd that this number isn’t the one they list on their official site?

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Multi Assist about a crash supposedly on 4th November 2018. Problem is, I haven’t been involved in any accident. They gave me a name and a registration plate they said was the car I was driving, but neither were right. They actually already knew my name. When I said I wasn’t in any accident, they doubted me and quickly ended the call.

I got a call about my recent car crash just yesterday. The person on the phone seemed to have way too much info about the accident and said they'd be sending someone over with a form to claim £1500 for ongoing stress or trauma. It all felt fishy. I checked with my insurance company and gave them all the info on these scammers. Definitely a con.
