I was lying in bed, feeling dreadful, when the phone suddenly rang. I answered, but there was nothing but silence at first. Then a woman with an Asian accent came on, claiming she was from Combined Power and wanted to talk to the person in charge of our energy bills. I said that was me and asked what she wanted. She then asked how much our last energy bill was. Feeling rubbish and annoyed, I snapped, "That's none of your f****** business, you’re just a scammer. Why not get an honest job instead?" Then I hung up and blocked the number straight away. Sorted.
