Just got a call asking to speak to our CEO about a business we’ve dealt with closing down. Honestly, it was way too unclear what the purpose was. Feels like they didn’t really know what they wanted to say.

Got a call on our office landline from 01915645876. The caller claimed to be from Commercial and Domestic Investigations and wanted to speak with one of our directors. It was really hard to get any info out of them as they refused to say much unless talking to a director. They mentioned something about one of our clients (named the company) going into liquidation but wouldn’t discuss any details with our accounts person. Just kept insisting on talking directly to a director.

Got a call from someone named Dawn at Commercial Domestic Investigations. Sounded like a sales pitch or maybe a scam. She was asking to speak to a finance director but I didn’t want to give out any names. Mentioned something about a business folding or going under.

They’re definitely one of those companies that chase you for unpaid debts.

They rang up asking for the directors by name about some money their company supposedly owes us. I told them none of the directors were free at the moment.

It was just some firm ringing me about supposed debts. Not really harmful, but they made it sound like the matter was urgent or something. Honestly, just another bothersome sales pitch if you ask me.

Got a call asking for someone with an unusual foreign name, said they owned a business. We’re down in South Manchester, but when I asked for the address, he gave me one way up in North Manchester? Bit odd if you ask me.

Received a call from this number - they were after a director, apparently. When I requested a contact number to ring back, I decided to look it up online instead. After some digging, I opted not to return the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Commercial and Domestic Investigations. They were asking for one of our directors but just by their first name. I told them the director wasn’t free and said I might be able to assist instead, but they weren’t saying much else. They left their name and number then hung up quickly. Feels a bit dodgy, especially since we’ve had anonymous calls on our phones too.

This woman called me and was really rude, claiming it was about some unpaid debt. When I asked what the debt was for and who it concerned, she totally lost her chill and just accused me of having an attitude before hanging up on me.

0191 5645876 - Cold caller from Commercial Domestic Investigations called, a woman named Leonie, asking if we'd had any issues with bad debts or companies going bust. I told her we handle all that internally. She tried to keep the chat going, but I was clear I wasn't interested and cut the call short. After that, Leonie rang back four more times but hung up as soon as someone picked up. Then she actually emailed our firm calling me a "rude accountant lady." Honestly, that's just not on. I'm so tired of these pointless cold calls wasting my time - they really ought to find real jobs.

Claimed they were from a debt help service, but honestly, this could well be a dodgy scam. Would be careful with these calls.

I fell victim to COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS a couple of years ago. Engaging their services turned out to be a complete waste of money. It felt like I was throwing good cash after a lost cause.

Fraudsters alert! They claimed they could recover our debts from a firm that had gone bust. Now, after a year, they’re back trying to squeeze us for cash again! Total scam!

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS, who lured us in by asserting they possessed sensitive information about illicit dealings connected to businesses that owe us a considerable sum. As it turns out, they were playing a duplicitous game, as those very businesses were also debtors of their other clients, and they’ve been exploiting personal information unlawfully. Regrettably, we were naive enough to fall for their ruse and parted with our cash. A closer inspection reveals their companies filings are suspiciously sparse, with many businesses long dissolved after bilking numerous individuals - it seems they’ve evaporated, leaving no trace in Companies House, likely banned from operating altogether. When we attempted to visit their alleged office, we discovered an empty shell; there was a receptionist present, yet no one from the actual company. It’s just a front, really. I strongly advise staying well clear of this so-called "business". Their documents and letters are poorly drafted, giving an impression of unprofessionalism. A careful examination reveals so many inconsistencies. Unfortunately, our ordeal hasn't ended, as attempts to reclaim our funds have proven incredibly frustrating. The police are dismissive, labelling it a civil issue, so we’re left to navigate the tedious process of seeking justice through the courts. Honestly, it's been a nightmare.

These lot keep ringing me up two times every single day! They wouldn’t say who they were unless I gave them my info, which I completely declined. When they started using my name, I just ended the call straight away! What a nuisance!

I had an uninvited call disrupt my lunch today. We’re on the ex-directory list and are registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so this sort of thing isn’t on!

I haven’t picked up any of the calls from this number, but it’s been ringing non stop from ‘Commercial Domestic Investigations’ and they never leave a message. Had to block them in the end.

I gave this number a wide berth since I’m nowhere close to Sunderland and haven't the foggiest idea about anyone from that region.

I find this rather dubious... received a call from someone insisting that I owe money (which is absolutely not the case...!) and he promised to send proof very soon... but guess what? Nothing has turned up!!! Steer clear of this!

I stumbled upon some information on a different site that mentioned a firm named Commercial and Domestic Investigations based in Sunderland. Apparently, they’re a fraudulent operation, trying to con people into paying upfront to recover their business debts. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
