I had a rather unnerving experience earlier! A chap claiming to be from Scottish Power reached out to me today, inquiring about my current energy plan and trying to entice me into signing a new contract with them. He laid out what sounded like an unbelievable offer, too good to be real, if I’m honest. While he was blabbing on, I took a moment to check the number he was calling from and to my disbelief, it turned out to be a scammer! Absolutely flabbergasted, I wasted no time in hanging up. It’s a right shame, but folks, do keep your wits about you-these dodgy characters are lurking everywhere!
