Got a call from 01915634353 claiming to be with Bulb Energy. They were asking if I pay my bill via key meter or direct debit. I didn’t share any info and asked where they got my number from. They said I’d entered some survey or competition, which I definitely hadn’t. Told them to remove me from their list since I live in the Isle of Man, and there’s only one energy provider here. The person on the other end sounded a bit pushy and kept pressing me for payment details.

I didn’t answer the phone when it rang, but then I called back. There was a recorded message from a company named Bulb. I checked them out and saw they’re an energy provider. The message asked me to leave my details if I didn’t want to be contacted. Sure, they say that, but it never works - a few days later, they’re back calling trying to get me to switch. I’ve just blocked the number. I’m quite happy with my current energy supplier and have no plans to change.

If you're after a better energy price, I'd personally recommend doing your own research on independent comparison websites.
