Octopus Energy rang me up without warning, saying it was because I’d supposedly agreed somewhere. I hadn’t, but the woman kept pushing, like she was baffled at why I wasn’t grateful for her ‘help’. They’re sending over a form so we can report it to ICO (or something similar) and OFTEL for a proper look into it. The rep on the phone did a reverse lookup and was shocked to see loads of complaints about Octopus. Seems like getting them on the TPS list might be the last step.
