A bloke phoned me up asking for the manager’s personal number after I told him they weren’t around just then. He was really pushy and quite rude, insisting I either accepted a hike in energy prices or passed on that number. I told him no way to both things, and he just got worse! Then he called me unprofessional, so I ended the call. Not long after, he rang back straight away, having a go at me for hanging up. Proper unpleasant and forceful salesman. Honestly, can’t imagine anyone wanting to deal with him given how rude he was!

This lad Liam from up North really tried to intimidate me over the phone. He kept saying if I was fine with being blamed for the price hikes since he apparently complained to our supplier. Then he asked for a director’s okay, so I told him I'm the one who makes those calls. He laughed and asked why I wasn’t part of the exec team yet lol. Next, he wanted the director’s email to try and freak me out, so I gave him the general company email and told him to drop an email but not to ring me again before hanging up. He actually rang back, and this time my manager answered (she’d been eavesdropping on my first call). He went on about how rude I’d been and how I’d slammed the phone down on him... so she just hung up on him. Honestly, just block this number and move on!

They keep ringing non-stop even after I explained again and again we're not looking into energy deals until 2024 is over. At one point, the bloke actually called me dumb for not accepting their offer! Honestly, that’s no way to treat potential customers. Proper rude and just feels like harassment.

Honestly, after going through all the comments here, I can’t believe Liam is still employed! I reached out to NGP’s support and even emailed his supervisor after he carelessly gave me the contact. They got back to me pretty fast, saying they'd remove me from their calling list and look into the call... Time will tell if they actually do. I’ve dealt with real scammers who have more convincing methods. This bloke’s absolutely rubbish.
