I recently received a call from a chap who identified himself as being with a firm named Business Energy, claiming to be an energy broker. Honestly, it was quite overwhelming because he wouldn't take no for an answer, despite my clear disinterest in his pitch. It really added to my stress levels!

It seems like the regular utility provider is at it again, bombarding folks with unwanted sales calls and not taking "No" for an answer, which is rather frustrating.

Absolute nightmare of an energy broker. He said he was from some firm called Business Energy, but when I told him to stop calling, he refused to give his name or remove me from their list. Said he didn’t have a database and was just randomly looking up businesses online. I asked if he could put me on a do-not-call list and he said no, which I’m pretty sure is against GDPR rules. Tried ringing the number back, but it went to some weird American voicemail with a foreign language menu. Total scam, definitely steer clear of these people!
