When I attempted to return the call, I found the number was not operational. This definitely strikes me as a rather dubious scam number. Beware, everyone!

Received a call from a firm named Greenfield, apparently to chat about Revenue and Trade Supply.

The chap insisted he needed to speak directly with the Directors of our business. When I pressed him for specifics about the purpose of the call, he chuckled and mentioned he had already shared more than enough information for the moment. He then abruptly ended the conversation, leaving me rather puzzled.

I kept getting calls from this number, finally picked up. A woman with an accent asked for a name totally unfamiliar to me, then just ended the call without saying anything else. Not sure what that was about.

Undoubtedly a dodgy cold call or spam, isn’t it? They promptly terminated the call as soon as I started poking around for details about their identity.
