I received a call at work from someone insisting they needed to talk to the account holder - they actually named the right person. When we told them to send an email instead since we don’t just pass on calls (we get bombarded with unsolicited calls), they said emailing wasn’t an option. After going back and forth, they started threatening to disconnect our electricity. The caller was quite impolite and said he was the manager, giving the name Ben Dyer, but his accent was definitely not local. Total scam if you ask me.

We keep getting calls from this energy firm who just won’t listen when we say no. They’re really pushy and quite impolite about it.
