Some bloke tried ringing saying he was from BT, saying there was work on our street and wanted to know what the copper line was used for. Thing is, we don’t have BT here, it’s actually Openreach who deal with that stuff. The guy was proper annoying and not helpful at all.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, asking about how we use our phone line because of some work being done on the street. They mentioned they’d keep ringing until someone replied. Quite annoying really.

Just got a ring from someone claiming to be from BT. This isn’t the first time, as I’ve had loads of calls like this before even though we ain’t with BT. This time though, they mentioned that the old alarm wiring and FTTC broadband actually come from their network, which I hadn’t realised before.

Got a call from some lot claiming they're doing “maintenance” on the old BT lines around here. They wanted to know what we use the line for so they wouldn’t mess it up. Well, we run a business and have had tonnes of calls like this before - we’re not falling for that. Didn't appreciate being told to just stop calling either. We know the drill and will make the switch when it suits us, not when they say so.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from BT but we don’t even use any BT services directly! Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Someone rang up saying they were from BT wanting to check on our office phone lines. The whole convo felt a bit like a sales pitch, really not just a straightforward check.
