5 yearsSo I picked up the phone and there was this pre-recorded message telling me that two transactions were done from my bank that morning. It then asked me to press 1 if I made them, or 2 if I didn't. I pressed 2, then some bloke comes on the line asking how he could help. I told him about the recording and then asked straight up if he was a scammer. His reply? "You stupid b****, just hang up!" Pretty clear from that, I reckon.5 yearsSo I picked up the phone and there was this automated voice telling me that two charges had been made on my bank account that same morning. It asked me to press 1 if I did the transactions or 2 if I didn’t. I hit 2, then a bloke came on and asked how he could help. I told him I’d just got a recorded message about some transactions and then bluntly asked if he was a scammer. He snapped back at me, calling me an idiot and telling me to hang up.
