Had a go at reopening some old accident claims but couldn’t get anywhere. Kept talking about a 3rd party bureau membership he supposedly belongs to. Didn’t want to spill too much info though.

Usually, when I get a cold call, the person on the other end hangs up before the voicemail starts. If the call does end up going to the recorded message, I listen to check if it’s someone I wanna chat with, and if so, I’ll jump in and answer. If not, I just hit the cancel button. Lately I haven’t been getting any annoying spam or scam calls at all, so I guess the message has got across now.

They kept ringing me over and over, but giving a data protection number or any company info? Nope, nothing like that - total scammer behaviour.

So this person claimed to be from the MIB, like seriously, who falls for that? They said Motor Insurance Bureau or something like that. I just ended the call straight away. Then they tried ringing me again on my mobile but from a different number, same person though. Clearly just trying to get money out of me and were pretty pushy about it. Total hassle.
