I received a call from a gentleman with a foreign accent, claiming that my internet account had been jeopardised and was causing issues for other users. He insisted that he required access to resolve the situation.
It’s obvious this was a scam.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from the BT technical support team, droning on about issues with my internet connection. The voice was distinctly Asian and rather confrontational. I ended the call rather swiftly, but lo and behold, he rang back straight away! So, I terminated the call again. Total scam, no doubt about it!

Just had a cheeky call purportedly from BT. The lady, who had a distinct Indian accent, claimed there was an issue with my internet connection. The moment I mentioned I work in IT consulting, she abruptly ended the call. Quite amusing, really!

They claim to be from the technical support team at BT Internet. I've received three calls from them already today, and each time I've asked them to take my number off their calling list and stop contacting me. Yet, here we are again!
